Bible Studies with Recipes?!

It’s Throwback Thursday!

 

Last night was the first night of the Young Adults Bible Study and it went really well.  I am excited to see where this goes. We will be doing a study on Ruth by Kelly Minter.

I am really excited about this study and it even comes with recipes! It is hard not to be stoked about recipes. I am definitely going to be trying some.  The week’s recipes include Chicken Enchiladas, Mexican Ice Cream, & Cinnamon Whipped Cream. Here is what we are going to be studying over the next 6 weeks.

This is bound to be a great time. I also learned a few names and that I am distantly related to one the girls by marriage! How cool is that. I have this passion about family, close or extended, so when ever I meet a member of the family I get ecstatic. Most people would think that isn’t a big deal, but I didn’t grow up around extended family, so I don’t most of them. I have heard names, seem them at funerals, but I’ve never really known them. Anyway, I am excited about this!

 

Yesterday’s workout was just a yoga routine. I did a 10 minutes of the routine because I was really tired, but I also did 10 minutes this morning.  I am proud to report that I was able to get in the proper form for down dog and was able to stay there for 10 deep breaths!

I have a baby shower to go today and then I have to climb 50 flights of stairs. I’m a little tight so I’m going to do 2 laps on the track before the climb and 2 laps to cool off after the climb.
